Plot Setting (without the story!) Nelly Trent (Little Nell) looks after her grandfather in the gloomy curiosity shop which sold second hand goods, precious and ornamental things. Times are never easy and their fortunes go downhill with the grandfather’s money being wasted by other members of the family. Attempts to redeem the situation do not go well and before long things go from bad to worse. Now the story continues ...
